Sub Fertility
Subfertility refers to reduced fertility or a delay in conceiving, though it does not mean infertility (which is the complete inability to conceive). A couple with subfertility can still conceive, but it may take longer or may need medical assistance.
Types of Sub fertility
1. Primary Subfertility:
A couple has never conceived despite trying for over a year.
2. Secondary Subfertility:
A couple has conceived before (naturally or with help), but now struggles to conceive again.
Common Causes
1. Hormonal imbalance
2. Pelvic Inflammatory Disease
3. Endometriosis
4. Decreased ovarian reserve
5. Poor quality semen
6. Improper timing of intercourse
